In Chicago alone, thousands of people dream of breaking into filmmaking. Their levels of experience may vary, but the dream is the same-- to one day see their vision on the big screen. They read books, go to school, surf the net for the answers. Unfortunately, many of them have not achieved their dream. The reasons include fear, lack of opportunities and money.
The one thing that we know for sure is, it cannot be done alone. We have heard the saying that “There’s strength in numbers”. It’s time to find out if it's true. What if 13 very diverse people from Middle America decided to unite creatively? The concept is part documentary, part social experiment. It’s called “The Bakers Dozen Film Project.”
The Bakers Dozen Film Project (BDFP) will provide the audience-- especially those interested in filmmaking with a new model. By using their own resources, the BDFP will develop and produce their own films. Watch the video for more info. This reality show concept is available for television producers and/or a network.
